Are you in need of assistance and don't know where to turn? Neighbourlink Parkland exists to assist those who are unable to access the usual government assistance, have exhausted other resources and are falling through the cracks in the system.
Each situation is assessed, and help is provided in several ways. Some of the most common needs are financial assistance, food hamper delivery, essential items from our Help Closet and used furniture. We are open to any situation that we might be able to assist with.
We have a storage unit of used furniture provided by generous donors that is available to those who need it.
Our Keep In Touch Program connects the people in our community with each other through a weekly telephone support system.
Referral Assistance means helping people make the right connections to get the help they need when they need it.
Through our volunteers, assistance may be provided to seniors and those in need to deliver food bank hampers or Help Closet necessities.
Our Help Closet provides basic necessities to those in urgent need including toiletries, hygiene products, clothing or emergency food.
Financial Assistance requests are assessed and temporary financial assistance, not provided by other government agencies, may be provided to assist with urgent needs.
