This will be sure to warm you up on this cold week! Emma Van Wyk dropped by the office with her mom Kathy and sister Addison to donate the proceeds from her lemonade stand to Neighbourlink Parkland. In August, Emma held a lemonade stand, but didn't want the money to go towards herself, but to go to the homeless. Emma stated her teacher from last year, Mrs. Reid, at St. Marguerite Catholic School in Spruce Grove was instrumental in helping her organize her event. Emma raised $97.50 and it will go towards some much needed items to help those in need! Thank you Emma for thinking of those less fortunate. May God Bless you!
We have been so blessed with needed donations, and thankful to the County Quilters Guild for their generous donation of underwear for our Help Closet. A clean, dry pair of underwear is a necessity that can make a difference to someone in need. Thank you for thinking of us!
Wow! Thank you to Twice as Nice and all the ladies that contributed to the Christmas bags for our clients. This was a generous donation and will brighten the day of many that are hurting this time of year. It was a pleasure to meet Lisa Babineau and her son when they delivered all the bags to Neighbourlink.
Thank you Peavey Mart, Spruce Grove for the generous donation of socks from their "Heat the Feet" campaign! A dry, clean pair of socks is a necessity many don't have. The socks will warm many feet this year!
Neighbourlink was blessed with a $1500 donation from Rick Lystang, President of Rococo Homes Inc. Meeting Rick and his wife reminds me of the great work people are doing in our community to support those in need! Thank you and we wish you much continued success in your business!
Wow! Meeting these two ladies Dawn Kover and Amanda Morris last week reminded me of all that is great in our community! They organized Graybriar's 12 Streets of Christmas ( Stony Plain) & blessed both Parkland Food Bank & Neighbourlink Parkland with food donations . Many in need will benefit from your generosity!
Neighbourlink Parkland would like to thank the grade three class at Blueberry School for their generous donation. We are thrilled to know that this young group of children worked to hard to raise funds for our agency. Donating to Neighbourlink is donating directly to needy in our community. It is exciting to see how this school has come together to be active in their community. These children are our future and they care about others that are less fortunate and together with their teachers have made a difference.
GOOD JOB BLUEBERRY SCHOOL !!
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED
